Abyss Foscari is the second stage in the Tides of the Foscari DLC for Vampire Survivors. It is unlocked after breaking the green crystal (Seal of the Lake) in Lake Foscari with Keitha Muort and her evolved base weapon, Millionaire.

Description[]

Sealed by Luminaire in ancient times to contain the darkness within, these underground ruins are now accessible, but so is the outside world to the evil from the depths.

Hyper Mode[]

The hyper mode for this stage can be unlocked by defeating the Je-Ne-Viv in normal mode.

Hyper mode in Abyss Foscari has a +100% Gold and +10% Luck bonus.

Items[]

The following items can be found in this stage:

  • Abyss Foscari Map Labels

    Abyss Foscari map with full item spawn locations.

    The map has a red crystal (Seal of the Abyss) that has to be destroyed by Maruto Cuts and his evolved base weapon. It opens up the section of the map that is covered in darkness.
  • After destroying the red crystal, a blue crystal (Seal of the Banished) is unlocked as the darkness recedes. It has to be destroyed by Eleanor Uziron and her united base weapon. Destroying the blue crystal unlocks the Je-Ne-Viv boss fight.

Stage items[]

  • Armor: south of starting area in the upper path.
  • Empty Tome: 10%, 10%, 10%, 10% chance for more Empty Tome to spawn. West of starting area at the top of the hidden room. The entrance to the room is slightly south of the Empty Tome.
  • Attractorb: 20%, 20%, 20%, 20%, 20% chance for more Attractorb to spawn. West of the starting area along the right wall leading towards Je-Ne-Viv.
  • Crown: 20%, 20%, 20%, 20% chance for more Crown to spawn. Far south of the starting area.
  • Stone Mask: 20%, 20%, 20% chance for more Stone Mask to spawn. West of the starting area along the left wall leading towards Je-Ne-Viv.
  • Skull O'Maniac: 20%, 20%, 20%, 20% chance for more Skull O'Maniac to spawn. Southwest of the starting area in the upper path before the Arcana treasure chest.
  • Torrona's Box: Far southwest of the starting area at the bottom of the hidden room. The entrance to the room is lightly south of the Empty Tome.
  • Academy Badge
    • Available after Maruto has broken the Seal of the Abyss southwest of the starting area in the lower path and is located there.
  • Prismatic Missile: Southwest of the starting area in the lower path.
  • Shadow Servant
    • Available after Eleanor has broken the Seal of the Banished and is located near Je-Ni-Viv west of the starting area.
  • Arcana Treasure Chest: southwest of the starting area in the middle of the upper path.

The 4 hidden stage items are also present, if the player has obtained the Yellow Sign.

  • Silver Ring: southwest of starting area.
  • Metaglio Right: southwest of starting area.
  • Gold Ring: southwest of starting area.
  • Metaglio Left: southwest of starting area.
    • They are positioned surrounding an Arcana Treasure Chest in the middle of the upper path, guarding it with the Atlanteans.

Pickups[]

  • 4x Vacuum:
    • Two are near the starting area.
    • One is south of the starting area near the Crown spawn location.
    • One is southwest of the starting area near Prismatic Missile.

Traps[]

Stepping on one of the small black circles on the ground triggers an unavoidable map event, chosen at random between 11 predetermined options. The traps have a 20 second cooldown before they can be triggered again.

Trivia[]

  • Six Attractorbs can spawn on Abyss Foscari, five of which are at 20%, but since you can only have five levels, the sixth is removed once Attractorb is fully leveled. This appears to be an oversight as there are only three extra Stone Masks are programmed for four spawns, meaning the extra Attractorb is taking up a Stone Mask slot.
  • By default, enemies on this stage exhibit a stop-and-go movement behavior in reference to Crypt of the NecroDancer. After defeating Je-Ne-Viv, there will be a blue hourglass button just north of the starting area that can be used to disable this feature for the remainder of the current run.
