Armor is a passive item in Vampire Survivors. It is unlocked by default.
Armor increases Armor by 1 per level, reducing all damage dealt to the player by 1. It cannot reduce damage to 0. Armor also increase retaliatory damage by 10% additively and it is an additional multiplier on top of Might.
Armor is required for the evolution of Runetracer, NO FUTURE. It is also required for the evolution of Eskizzibur, Legionnaire, in which Armor must also be fully leveled.
Armor can be found as a stage item in Dairy Plant, Moongolow, Boss Rash, Lake Foscari, and Abyss Foscari.

Tips[]
- Armor bonuses reduce how much damage enemies deal to you. Even if a single point sounds small, bonuses quickly add up. It is extremely effective with Crimson Shroud as it caps all incoming damage at 10 already.
- When paired with bonuses to health, such as the Hollow Heart, Pummarola, or by playing as Clerici, damage reduction is even more powerful due to bigger health buffer.
- Armor can allow the player to play much more recklessly, and at high levels, can greatly reduce the risk from bumping into enemies, on accident or on purpose.
- When playing as characters with less Max Health, such as Poe Ratcho or Exdash, every point of HP matters even more. If Hollow Heart or Pummarola are unavailable, don't be afraid to take Armor.
- Armor increases retaliatory damage from NO FUTURE, Heart of Fire (XIX), and Crimson Shroud.
- It also increases the damage for the explosions of Out of Bounds (XII), it is unknown if this is intended or an oversight.
- It does not deal retaliatory damage by itself, it only increases retaliatory damage from other sources.
