Tips[]
- As you get stronger later in a run, you are much harder to be killed, even running into bosses may not take you out. It is advised that using up some of the revives early on to get the stat boost sooner.
- Phieraggi greatly benefits from this Arcana for getting +3 Base Damage and +3 Amount, be sure not to accidentally used up some revives to lower its effectiveness.
- The increase to Armor combined with level 200+ Toastie can make the Reaper's attack survivable, with weapons like Gatti Amari that can scale infinitely, there is a way to kill them without using either Infinite Corridor, Crimson Shroud, or any exploits. In addition, the revival effect makes Toastie somewhat more capable of surviving a stage in general.
- Using up revives brings the character back up to 50% health is considered a heal, Sarabande of Healing can double that to a full heal and nuke surrounding enemies by your Max Health. The increase healing and general stat boost, these Arcanas will make a run much more likely to be completed.
- With the increased Max Health and Armor, and taking damage is encouraged, a healing build with additional melee focused elements like NO FUTURE and Heart of Fire's retaliatory explosion could be viable.
- Genevieve GruyĂšre and Je-Ne-Viv trigger a screen-clearing effect once per life, Awake provides more use out of them. Cosmo Pavone also triggers a Rosary upon resurrecting.
- Luminaire Foscari has a massive amount of built-in Revives, and gains a powerful temporary bonus every time she revives, scaling with the number of times revived. This makes Awake a powerful way to scale her over the course of the game.
