Blackmore is one of the secret playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. His starting weapon is Summon Spirit.
Unlocking[]
"Let no Shadow fall on the founder of Ecclesia."
After unlocking the Scorpion Gate in the Ode to Castlevania stage, Blackmore will appear as a boss enemy from his summoning circle, located in the hidden section of the Library (inside the top part of the middle building). The room where his summoning circle is located in also contains an Arma Dio. Then, defeat him while playing as Barlowe.
Once unlocked, Blackmore can be purchased for 
16,650, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Blackmore can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "bizarreshadeadventure".
Passive bonuses[]
Blackmore starts with +40% Move Speed, +40% Duration, and +100% Greed.
He can choose a per-level bonus after defeating a set amount of enemies up to 5 times: 1% Might, Area, Speed, Duration, Recovery (0.01), Growth, Luck, Greed, Curse, or Move Speed. Bonus selection is available at the 1000, 5000, 9000, 13000, and 17000 kills.
Blackmore starts with an extra Chaos in the Dark Night (V) Arcana. Blackmore is also able to gain up to five Arcana.
He can find special Castlevania pickups, like Wall Chicken.
Tips[]
- Blackmore's 5 per-level bonuses make him, along with Scientist Mina, the highest scaling character for nine of the ten stats he can select (the exception being Recovery, where they are outclassed by Cosmo Pavone). This allows him to synergize with a variety of weapons and arcana depending on the focus of their stat bonuses:
- Potentially having the highest scaling Might, Blackmore can make particularly good use of SpellStrike.
- Potentially having the highest scaling Area, Blackmore can make particularly good use of SpellStream, Santa Water, Lightning Ring, and so on.
- Potentially having the highest scaling Speed, Blackmore can make particularly good use of SpellString, King Bible, Runetracer, and so on.
- Potentially having the highest scaling Duration, Blackmore can make particularly good use of Runetracer, Bone, La Robba, and so on.
- Potentially having the highest scaling Luck, Blackmore may be able to make good use of Gatti Amari, Muramasa, 108 Bocce, and so on.
- Potentially having the highest scaling Curse, Blackmore can make particularly good use of 108 Bocce and Twilight Requiem (II).
- Potentially having the highest scaling Move Speed, Blackmore can make particularly good use of Shadow Pinion, Vento Sacro, Celestial Dusting, and so on.
- Regardless of build, selecting Growth for some of Blackmore's bonuses will result in enough additional levels that you will gain more of other stats than if you were to exclusively select another bonus. The value proposition of more Growth bonuses depends on how long you continue your run and how dense with enemies it is.
