Celestial Dusting is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the starting weapon of O'Sole. Other characters have a small chance to obtain it after O'Sole is unlocked. It can also be obtained from Merchant in-game by spending 1,000.
Celestial Dusting can be evolved into Profusione D'Amore after collecting Chaos Altemanna, when playing as O'Sole and reaching level 80.
Effects[]
Celestial Dusting fires flowers away from your walking direction that bounce off of walls and obstacles, but pierce through an unlimited number of enemies. As they reach the end of their Duration, they slow down and shed petals in a small X shape, dealing additional damage to nearby enemies.
Movement Speed increases its overall spawn rate when moving, when the character stops it initiates the default Cooldown. Celestial Dusting ignores Projectile Speed bonuses outside of its level ups.
Celestial Dusting has a 0.3 second Hitbox Delay, meaning that the same enemy cannot be hit more often than every 0.3 seconds by the same flower. However, because all active delays are reset simultaneously as soon as any one elapses, some enemies may get hit more often.
At max level, Celestial Dusting gains a 66% chance to generate a little heart when an enemy is defeated. This chance is unaffected by Luck.
Arcanas[]
Selecting Sarabande of Healing (VI) Arcana allows Celestial Dusting's little hearts to heal 2 points of health and trigger a pulse dealing the same amount of damage.
Twilight Requiem (II) allows the flowers to explode when they expire. The explosions also generate hearts.

Tips[]
- Celestial Dusting fires rather quickly, so with some Amount, Cooldown, and Movement Speed bonuses, it can produce a constant stream of flowers behind you.
- Like Hellfire, Celestial Dusting benefits heavily from Area bonuses increasing the size of the vast amount of flowers.
- By tapping direction keys rapidly, Celestial Dusting can shoot out flowers all around the character away from where the character is facing. If you have to stay still around a dense group of enemies, it can retain the faster fire rate from moving.
- There is an Easter egg if you play with it in Il Molise. Celestial Dusting will not actually damage the plants but heal them, you will still get some passive experience by healing the plants.
- Celestial Dusting's evolution Profusione D'Amore doesn't need any specific passive item with it, but must first be unlocked by acquiring the Chaos Altemanna relic in Tiny Bridge, and then utilized by levelling O'Sole Meeo to level 80, on any stage.
- Outside of being granted the item by a Gold Finger through achieving the "Cosmic Finger" rating, no other means of obtaining this evolution on other characters has been found.
Trivia[]
- Celestial Dusting is a reference to the video game Okami, which features a white wolf goddess Amaterasu that leaves grass and flowers behind as she walks and runs.
- She can use her tail dipped in ink to stroke on a screenshot of the environment with different symbols and creates different effects, the techniques are called Celestial Brush, with "brush" being a synonym for "dusting".
- One of the Celestial Brush techniques is Bloom, which revives plant life by drawing a circle around a dying one, generating Praise that is used to upgrade aspects of the character like max health and amount of ink pot used for the techniques. This is referenced in Il Molise where Celestial Dusting heals the plants and still generating experience.
