Cosmo Pavone is one of the secret playable characters in Vampire Survivors. It does not have a starting weapon.
Unlocking[]
"With a pure heart and two good friends, visit the fiery balcony in Cappella Magna."
To unlock Cosmo, the player must have already collected the Yellow Sign and unlocked Zi'Assunta Belpaese by opening her coffin. Then the player must enter Cappella Magna with a character with 0 eggs as part of the "pure heart" requirement. (Note: toggling eggs off does not count as having "0 eggs")
In Cappella Magna, the player must collect both Peachone and Ebony Wings (which must not be united into Vandalier). After obtaining the weapons, go north beyond the Crown and Tirajisú where a Nduja Fritta Tanto can be found near a balcony. Collecting the Nduja Fritta when all of the conditions above have been met spawns Cosmo on the balcony, and the gate blocking it is removed. Cosmo can then be approached, and a flash similar to Rosary appears.
Alternately, if The Ender has not yet been defeated, activating the Ender battle while standing near the balcony causes all the walls and gates to disappear, and you can walk over and collect Cosmo immediately after the battle.
After unlocking, Cosmo will be able to be purchased for 
666, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Cosmo can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "lhovistoio". Note that the first letter is a lowercase "L".
Passive bonuses[]
Cosmo starts with -80 Max Health, +1 Recovery, +20% Luck, +30% Movement Speed, and +1 Revival. It also gains +1 Recovery and +1% Luck every level, and +1 Revival every 100 levels. There is no cap on these bonuses.
It starts with hidden Peachone and Ebony Wings without taking up any weapon slots; the actual weapons themselves may still be obtained from level-ups, and doing so results in the character having two of each weapon. The hidden weapons are upgraded every five levels, starting at level 10, up to level 40 when both reach level 8. The birds cannot be united into Vandalier, and as usual with hidden weapons, they cannot gain limit break stats.
Every time Cosmo is revived, it triggers a Rosary effect.
Tips[]
- Since Queen Sigma cannot obtain Golden Eggs, she can always be used to unlock Cosmo, even if you have eggs on all your other characters.
- It does not have a starting weapon which means it can have more customization to design a build.
- It can pair well with Sarabande of Healing (VI), as its Recovery keeps on scaling every level, making it pulse with increasing power. Its extra Revivals can also help clear enemies not affected by Rosary; the downside is that it has low Max Health.
- Though you can obtain two Peachone and Ebony Wings with this character, Gemini (I) will only grant one of each counterpart weapon.
- With Gemini and both sets of birds you can have 6 birds at once.
- It pairs extremely well with Divine Bloodline (IX) and Crystal Cries (XII), constantly increasing your max health and utilizing Cosmo's increased recovery at every level.
- Due to its extremely high regeneration, it pairs well with weapons that damage the wielder, such as
Muramasa , Gatti Amari and Dominus weapons , essentially negating the risk of dying to these weapons. In addition, Muramasa also synergizes well with Divine Bloodline and its critical hit chance scales with Cosmo's ever-growing Luck. - Cosmo's powerful regeneration can allow him to greatly boost Soul Eater's damage.
- Sharp Tongue/ Impostongue , as well as Star Flail/ Moon Rod , works extremely well with Cosmo because their damage is multiplied by Recovery. Reaching even double digit levels will have them dealing far higher damage than any other weapon.

Trivia[]
- Cosmo may be based on the Phoenix as it starts with a Revival and has the ability to keep reviving.
- The name comes from the Yattodetaman anime, in which the main characters travel through time looking for an entity called Firebird which has been localized in Italian as Cosmo Pavone.
- Cosmo actually gains 0.01 Revives per level, however this isn't visible in the display.
