Count Olrox is one of the secret playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. His starting weapon is Dark Rift.
Unlocking[]
"Let the souls of the damned get their revenge on the other Count."
After unlocking Vlad Tepes Dracula, Count Olrox will appear in the Ode to Castlevania stage as a boss enemy, where his summoning circle is located in the left room of the Dinner Hall, in the far east building of the castle, and then defeat him with Dark Rift.
Once unlocked, Count Olrox can be purchased for
16,650, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Count Olrox can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "dontdisturbdinner".
Passive Bonuses[]
Count Olrox starts with the following bonuses:
- +50 Max Health
- +1 Armor
- +20% Move Speed
- +20% Might
- +20% Duration
- +100% Greed
- +10 Rerolls
- +10 Skips
- +10 Banishes
Count Olrox is immune to health drain and transforms into Megalo Olrox at certain kill thresholds for 30 seconds after the Ebony and Crimson Stones have been collected. He gains +200% Might and -50% Cooldown, and becomes invulnerable. He also gains a permanent
Nduja Fritta Tanto for the duration of the effect.
He can find special Castlevania pickups, like Wall Chicken.
Tips[]
- Items that increase Curse or Charm, like Torrona's Box and Karoma's Mana, are important for Olrox in order to consistently kill as many enemies as possible. Wicked Season (XIII) should likely be your first Arcana. Built properly, Olrox should be able to spend most of the run in Megalo form.
- Paranormal Scan is recommended. One of Olrox's weaknesses is that, even with high Curse, kill thresholds may be difficult to achieve later into the run, stranding him in his normal form against jacked-up enemies. Due to Olrox's massive Cooldown reduction in Megalo form, he can snowball Paranormal Scan very quickly and this helps build up his stats for the lategame to help him compete with powerful enemies.
Trivia[]
- The spell "dontdisturbdinner" and his description both reference his apperance in Symphony of the Night where he is sitting at a table awaiting Alucard, who can also sit on the table without triggering the fight.
