Cross is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the starting weapon of Krochi Freetto. It is unlocked by finding a Rosary.
Cross can be evolved into the Heaven Sword with Clover.
Effects[]
Cross shoots a spinning cross at the closest enemy. After a short while it boomerangs in the opposite direction until it leaves the screen. The crosses pierce and damage all enemies they come in contact with.
Projectile Speed determines how far the crosses can initially travel before they return.
Arcanas[]
Selecting Waltz of Pearls (XI) Arcana allows the crosses to bounce off of the edges of the screen twice. Upon bouncing, the cross completely reverses its horizontal and vertical speed instead of just one of them according to the edge.
Divine Bloodline (IX) allows the crosses to deal extra flat damage based on Armor.

Tips[]
- Cross has a short range when initially thrown, stopping a little ways after it hits an enemy. However, it will fly to the other end of the screen when returning. Because of this, it is most effective in scenarios with a lot of enemies, as to assure it pierces through as many enemies on the return trip as possible.
- The automatic targeting nature of the weapon is both a blessing and a curse. While it removes the mental load of aiming, the closest enemy might not always be the enemy you're trying to attack. Cross should be considered a supporting weapon, and not necessarily a main damage dealer.
Trivia[]
- This weapon is inspired by the cross sub-weapon from the Castlevania series. Both function as a boomerang weapon.
