Defeating frozen enemies gives bonus MaxHealth, Recovery, and Growth. Triggers an Orologion when health reaches a critically low level.
Crystal Cries is one of the Darkanas in Vampire Survivors. It is unlocked by triggering a Starry Heavens with She-Moon Eeta.
While active, frozen enemies drop Crystallized Souls, which provide Growth, Recovery, and Max Health. While individually these bonuses are small, the Crystallized Souls gathered can quickly increase a player's stats. The value of the Crystallized Souls appears to increase the more you collect, although the exact value is not known at this time. There is also a 200-250 pick-up limit for Crystallized Souls that can be on the ground at any point.
Additionally, Crystal Cries will trigger an HP-Critical Orologion when Health hits 20%. This ability recovers once the character is healed back to full Max Health.
Tips[]
- Because this Darkana affects Regeneration, it pairs well with Sharp Tongue/Impostongue despite it not being a freeze-inducing weapon.
- It also synergizes with Mazo Familiar due to increasing max Health, though not as well as Divine Bloodline (IX).
- Attractorb can be very useful for gathering Crystallized Souls, and it's also the evolution item for Mirage Robe/J'Odore, which synergizes with freezing builds.
- Hail from the Future (X) synergises perfectly with Crystal Cries (XII), as Hail from the Future (X) not only drops Orologions, but also drops powerful pickups that helps you to clean frozen enemies quickly; killing frozen enemies quickly means dropping more Crystallized Souls, faster increasing Growth (as well as MaxHealth and Recovery), faster leveling up, and dropping more Orologions and pickups.
