Dario Bossi is one of the secret playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. His starting weapon is Salamender.

Unlocking

"Burn bright until the end while rejecting all but the inferno."

Finish a run as any character in any stage with only fire weapons. Fire weapons include:

• Raging Fire, Salamender, and Speculo Raging Fire
• Fire Wand and Hellfire
• Flames of Misspell and Ashes of Muspell
• Alchemy Whip and Vampire Killer
• Dominus Anger
• Svarog Statue
• Bracelet, Bi-Bracelet, and Tri-Bracelet
• Heart of Fire (XIX)

The weapons cannot be chosen through Candybox, Super Candybox II Turbo, Morning Star, Coat of Arms, Belnades' Spellbook, or the Ebony Diabologue, even if no other weapon is taken for the whole run. Note that Candybox dropping from a chest will also prevent unlocking him during the run. Also note that Arma Dio will also prevent the unlock, due to being coded as a weapon despite giving a passive.

Once unlocked, Dario Bossi can be purchased for 1,665, which scales with other characters purchased.

Alternatively, Dario Bossi can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "aguniinagony".

Passive Bonuses

While playing as Dario, the base damage of every equipped Fire-type weapon increases by 0.5 per level. Fire-type weapons include:

• Alchemy Whip and its evolution Vampire Killer
• Bracelet and its evolutions Bi-Bracelet and Tri-Bracelet
• Dominus Anger
• Fire Wand and its evolution Hellfire
• Firearm and its evolution Fire-L3GS
• Flames of Misspell and its evolution Ashes of Muspell
• Raging Fire, including its counterpart Speculo Raging Fire and its evolution Salamender.
• Svarog Statue
• Valkyrie Turner

He can find special Castlevania pickups, like Wall Chicken.
