Armor also affects listed weapons' damage and reflects enemy damage. Character gains bonus damage depending on missing Health. Defeating enemies with retaliatory damage gives +0.5 Max Health.

Divine Bloodline (IX) is one of the Arcanas in Vampire Survivors. It is unlocked by reaching level 50 with Clerici.

While this Arcana is active, multiple effects occur:

Richter BelmontOde to Castlevania DLC starts with this Arcana.

Tips[]

  • This Arcana is widely considered to be the most powerful Arcana in the game due to its unique interaction with Legionnaire. Legionnaire creates a constant stream of clones that deal "retaliatory damage" which means that every enemy the clones kill increases your max hp. Because this Arcana does not increase your current health when it increases your max hp, this essentially means every enemy killed by the Legionnaire clones results in an uncapped damage increase of 0.05 damage. Add in the Boogaloo of Illusions Arcana to grow the clones to be the size of your entire screen and the end result is an endless stream of screen wiping clones that wipe out even bosses in less than a second and whose damage scales much, much faster than the enemy's health even on Inverse and Endless modes with the Wicked Season Arcana in tow.
  • Weapons, like Garlic, that deal low but fast ticking damage benefit greatly from the flat damage bonuses.
  • The increasing Might from the Arcana is purely visual and increases by +1% for every flat damage you gain. With a high enough number, you can approximate how much more flat damage you are dealing with its value.
  • Due to the scaling Max Health that Divine Bloodline (IX) provides, it synergizes well with Hollow Heart and Metaglio Left, however the benefit provided by these do not affect any Max Health gained after the items have been leveled.

Trivia[]

  • The name of this Arcana is a reference to the song "Divine Bloodline", which is the theme song of Stage 1 of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood.
  • This Arcana is one of the most prominent cases, alongside Twilight Requiem (II), of an Arcana applying mostly to base weapons but not their evolutions, even when said weapons are not mechanically different.
  • Divine Bloodline as a standalone weapon creates missing texture squares on the character that can knockback enemies. It can also be affected by Amount and Cooldown, which is not the case when it is an Arcana effect as it is used as a contact damage.
