The Ferryman is one of the secret playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. Although he does not have a starting weapon, he starts with a hidden Acquazzone.
Unlocking[]
"You don't need his services if you can walk on water."
In the Ode to Castlevania stage, evolve the Sonic Dash into Rapidus Fio and walk onto the water near the castle's entrance.
Once unlocked, the Ferryman can be purchased for 
1,665, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, the Ferryman can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "hehhehheh".
Passive bonuses[]
He does not have any passive bonuses, and instead starts with a hidden Acquazzone. It behaves similarly to The Drowner's effect, but it attacks enemies on the lower half of the screen below him. It flashes white when it strikes, and will pulse several times with damage based on Amount.
He can find special Castlevania pickups, like Wall Chicken.
Trivia[]
- The Ferryman's spell, "hehhehheh", is a reference to one of his quotes from Simon's Quest: "SURE, I'LL TAKE YOU TO A GOOD PLACE. HEH!! HEH!! HEH!!"
