Vampire Survivors Wiki

Fuwalafuwaloo is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the Union of Vento Sacro and Bloody Tear, and the starting weapon of Rose De Infernas.

Vento Sacro must be level 8 before Fuwalafuwaloo is available.

Effects[]

Fuwalafuwaloo, similar to Vento Sacro, creates multiple slashes horizontally in front of the character and a circle of slashes that cycle around the character, damaging all enemies in the area.

Fuwalafuwaloo's base damage is dramatically increased compared to Vento Sacro, and it is a half of Bloody Tear's. It has one more slash per burst and a slight increase in Knockback. Duration increases how long the hitbox lingers.

Move Speed increases its overall fire rate when moving, when the character stops it initiates the default Cooldown. Projectile Speed makes the slashes go further out horizontally.

By default, it is capable of dealing critical hits, which deal 2x damage and have 5% chance to occur. This is lowered by 5% compared to Bloody Tear. The chance is affected by Luck.

The character can heal 8 points of health if an enemy was damaged by a critical hit. This lifesteal effect has a 0.5 seconds delay before it can be triggered again, which is halved from Bloody Tear.
Critical hits also trigger an explosion which has a separate 0.5 seconds delay. It spawns on top of the enemy it hits, deals the critical damage, and is affected by Area. The explosions cannot trigger the lifesteal effect.

Fuwalafuwaloo gains bonus damage from walking nonstop. It caps at 40 flat damage. The actual bonus comes from distance walked divided by 200,000 up to the cap, which takes 8 million units. This bonus will reset once the character stop moving. The unit is for distance walked is slightly arbitrary and it is not as big as it seems in the game.

Tips[]

  • With enough Amount, Cooldown and Move Speed, Fuwalafuwaloo can be a very deadly weapon to where you are facing horizontally.
  • Fuwalafuwaloo can deal critical damage by default. The more Luck you have, the more likely you are to deal critical hits. Luck can be increased with Clover, Little Clovers, or the Luck PowerUp.
  • Fuwalafuwaloo's lifesteal and explosion effect can only trigger twice per second and only on critical hits. This means that to trigger them the fastest, you must maximize your Luck, Cooldown, and Movement Speed bonuses to decrease the downtime of it not attacking with critical hits.
  • Fuwalafuwaloo has a normal amount of knockback, but it has an Area-of-Effect that can be controlled unlike most weapons, so it can be useful when trying to escape enemies closing in on you.
  • Moving vertically while facing only one direction with a wall behind you can be very effective.
  • Because of the continuous uninterrupted movement needed to effectively using this weapon and its base weapon, it has negative synergy with Shadow Pinion and Valkyrie Turner, which require stopping to be more effective.

Trivia[]

  • This weapon is inspired by the Valmanway weapon from the Castlevania series, ironically, it is an evolution of the sword instead of a whip. The icon is similar to whip from Portrait of Ruin.
  • The name of this weapon appears to be a reference to the character Fuwalafuwalu from the video game Suikoden V.
  • Fuwalafuwaloo is the only weapon evolved from uniting a weapon with an evolved weapon.
  • Fuwalafuwaloo was the only evolved weapon to not have a rarity of 1, but rather one of its base weapon's rarity of 50. This is fixed in patch 0.7.3.
  • The bonuses for continuously walking gives up to 10 Amount to the weapon is changed in patch 0.8.0. In total the player has to walk 1,000,000 units, divided by the base Amount of the weapon, which takes 125,000 units walked.
