Vampire Survivors Wiki

Halts XP gain. Experience Gems turn into exploding projectiles. All Treasure Chests contain at least 3 items.

Game Killer (0) is one of the Arcanas in Vampire Survivors. It is unlocked by defeating the final enemy in Cappella Magna.

Upon obtaining this Arcana, all experience gain from experience gems is halted, and all experience gems now act as exploding projectiles that hurl themselves to the closest enemy when collected. Additionally, all Treasure Chests now give at least 3 Weapons or Passive items.

Growth multiplies the damage dealt by the gems and uses the Stained Glass explosion effect.

Fleaman starts with this Arcana.

Tips[]

  • Gorgeous Moon can provide a periodic vacuum effect to collect all of gems at once, while also creating one more gem when it kills an enemy. Crown is require to evolve Pentagram, so each gem will also do more damage due to the damage scaling with Growth.
  • Game Killer (0) can benefit Porta, Clerici, Ambrojoe, and Santa due to special level 1 stat bonuses. Pairing up with Arcana that boost the effectiveness of one weapon only like Beginning (X), Silent Old Sanctuary (XX), and Arcana that have the starting weapon listed can be a viable strategy. Clerici's area bonus notably applies to the Game Killer explosions, allowing the Arcana to achieve an high DPS.
  • If selected at level 1, purchasing weapons from the Master Librarian and Merchant can be extremely beneficial.
  • Alternatively, in non-Limit Break runs, Game Killer (0) can be used with characters who have a level cap on their bonus ability, such as Antonio, Arca and Divano, as they do not gain any further benefit upon reaching a certain level.
  • If needed, Game Killer can be used to put a stop to the leveling of certain characters with infinitely scaling Curse, like Gyorunton.
  • Thanks to its ability to gain experience from gold coins, Sammy can continue leveling up even with Game Killer.

Trivia[]

  • The name of this Arcana is a reference to the song "Vampire Killer", which is the theme song to opening level of Castlevania.
  • The Game Killer as a standalone weapon creates a placeholder piano that aims straight at enemies. It can also be affected by Amount and Cooldown, which is not the case when it is an Arcana effect.
