Listed weapons come with a counterpart.
Gemini (I) is one of the Arcanas in Vampire Survivors. It is unlocked by reaching level 50 with Pugnala.
When this Arcana is active, certain weapons (and/or their evolutions) are now accompanied by functionally identical counterparts and level up at the same time. The counterparts able to be given are listed below:
- Cygnus, counterpart of Peachone
- Zhar Ptytsia, counterpart of Ebony Wings
- Red Muscle, counterpart of Phiera Der Tuphello . It fires at diagonal directions.
- Twice Upon a Time, counterpart of Eight The Sparrow. It fires at diagonal directions.
- Flock Destroyer, counterpart of Gatti Amari
- Levelin'Eh, counterpart of Santa Javelin
- Silver Sliver, counterpart of Shadow Servant
- Party Pooper, counterpart of Party Popper
- Silver Tongue, counterpart of Sharp Tongue . It attacks enemies behind the character.
- Prism Damsel, counterpart of Prism Lass
- Speculo Raging Fire, counterpart of Raging Fire. It mirrors Raging Fire or Salamender.
- Speculo Ice Fang, counterpart of Ice Fang. It mirrors Ice Fang or Cocytus.
- Speculo Rock Riot, counterpart of Rock Riot. It mirrors Rock Riot or Gemma Torpor.
- Speculo Gale Force, counterpart of Gale Force. It is point symmetry to Gale Force or Pneuma Tempestas.
- Speculo Fulgur, counterpart of Fulgur. It mirrors Fulgur or Tenebris Tonitrus.
- Speculo Keremet Bubbles, Counterpart of Keremet Bubbles. It is controlled oppositely by the character's movement.
- Speculo Hex, Counterpart of Hex. It mirrors Hex or Nightmare.
- Speculo Refectio, Counterpart of Refectio. It is point symmetry to Refectio or Sancturay.
- Speculo Globus, Counterpart of Globus
The above counterparts do not take up weapon slots or show in the weapons list in the upper-left corner, cannot be evolved or united, and remain as independent weapons if their counterparts unite. If the Arcana is picked up with Phieraggi, Vicious Hunger, Seraphic Cry, Ophion, Impostongue, and Time Warp, the counterparts of their constituents are given at max level; with Vandalier, both are given at the level of it and level up with Vandalier.
Nduja Fritta Tanto fires another stream of flame from the back side of the character.
When Peachone, Ebony Wings, Vandalier, Phieraggi, Gatti Amari, Vicious Hunger, and Santa Javelin are Limit Broken, their counterparts also get the same bonuses, but not Phiera Der Tuphello, Eight The Sparrow, Shadow Servant, Ophion, Sharp Tongue, Impostongue, Party Popper, Seraphic Cry, Prism Lass, and Time Warp.
Red Muscle benefits from Heart of Fire (XIX) and Twice Upon a Time from Jail of Crystal (XIV), and they both benefit from Iron Blue Will (VII).
Cygnus and Zhar Ptytsia do not benefit from Twilight Requiem (II); however, Cygnus benefits from Jail of Crystal (XIV) and Zhar Ptytsia from Heart of Fire (XIX).
Prism Lass benefits from Jail of Crystal (XIV).
Unlike most of the evolved weapons, Vicious Hunger with this Arcana attacks with both its unevolved form Gatti Amari and Flock Destroyer, instead of just the counterpart. So does Belnades' Spells.
Rinaldo Gandolfi starts with this Arcana.
Tips[]
- Since the counterparts cannot be evolved, their total average damage eventually becomes underwhelming compared to the evolved weapons, especially the Phieraggi, which may make this Arcana a weak choice at high Curse levels.
- Gatti Amari is extremely strong for an unevolved weapon. Despite Vicious Hunger gaining two Gatti Amaris with this Arcana, it competes with them by transmuting pickups like Floor Chicken into coins, hindering the growth of the cats. This is especially true for characters with high Amount stats.
- Hidden weapons from character can also get their counterparts.
- Having multiple copies of certain weapon and Gemini (I) will only provide 1 counterpart. (For example, Megalo Impostor Rina will only get 1 sliver tongue.)
