Heaven Sword is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the evolution of Cross, requiring Clover. It is the starting weapon of Gains Boros.
Effects[]
Heaven Sword, similarly to Cross, throws a sword at the closest enemy, which then starts spinning and boomerangs the opposite direction until it leaves the screen.
Compared to Cross, its Projectile Speed is doubled and its Base Damage more than doubles. It gains an extreme amount of knockback to push enemies back to compensate for the Amount and Pool Limit loss and Cooldown increase.
By default, it is capable of dealing critical hits, which deal 2.5x damage and have 10% chance to occur. This chance is affected by Luck.
Arcanas[]
Selecting Slash (XVI) Arcana doubles the damage of Heaven Sword's critical hits, causing them to deal to deal 5x damage.
Waltz of Pearls (XI) allows the swords to bounce off of the edges of the screen twice. Upon bouncing, the swords completely reverses its horizontal and vertical speed instead of just one of them according to the edge.
Levels[]
With Limit Break, Heaven Sword can be further leveled up.

Tips[]
- Heaven Sword can deal critical damage by default. The more Luck you have, the more likely you are to deal critical hits. Luck can be increased with Clover, Little Clovers, or the Luck PowerUp.
- Heaven Sword travels much further when initially thrown than the Cross, regularly being tossed off screen only to come flying back. It is still the most effective when there is a lot of enemies, as to assure it pierces through as many enemies on the return trip as possible.
- The automatic targeting nature of the weapon is both a blessing and a curse. While it removes the mental load of aiming, the closest enemy might not always be the enemy you're trying to attack.
- Its Projectile Speed is much greater than the Cross, meaning that bonuses to it such as the Bracer and Speed PowerUp will be amplified greatly. This may not be beneficial as you want the swords to stay on screen as long as possible.
Trivia[]
- This weapon is inspired by the cross sub-weapon and Heaven's Sword weapon from the Castlevania series. Both function as a boomerang weapon and the attack of Heaven's Sword is also boomerang-like. The special attack from Symphony of the Night even have the character summon multiple sword in an arc behind then targets the enemies in the front.
