Impostongue is a weapon from the Emergency Meeting DLC of Vampire Survivors. It is the evolution of Sharp Tongue, requiring Mini Impostor at max level.
Effects[]
Impostongue fires seeking pink tongues in lines from the character to stab at nearby enemies in front of them, some are fired as red tongues which can aim at anywhere on screen. It periodically blasts a red flash at the strongest on-screen enemy and all other enemies in a horizontal area centered on the original target with high damage. The damage of this weapon is multiplied by (1 + Recovery).
Impostongue gains a bit of Base Damage and Projectile Speed, while having a lower Cooldown and Interval.
By default, it is capable of dealing critical hits, which deal 4x damage and have 5% chance to occur. This chance is affected by Luck.
Arcanas[]
Selecting Gemini (I) Arcana creates a counterpart - Silver Tongue - that is functionally the same as Sharp Tongue. It fires silver and more curvy tongues which prioritizes enemies behind the character but does not benefit from Limit Breaking.
Slash (XVI) doubles the damage of Impostongue critical hits, causing it to deal 8x damage.
Levels[]
With Limit Break, Impostongue can be further leveled up.

Tips[]
- It is best to combine Impostongue into builds that utilize Pummarola and Metaglio Left as they increase the Recovery stat.
- Due to gaining +1 Recovery per level, Cosmo is able to quickly turn Impostongue into a powerful weapon. By level 30 Impostongue will deal 1,700+ damage per hit when factoring in the Recovery, Might, and Omni Powerups.
Trivia[]
- Impostongue is based on the background of the death animation in Among Us, where a red, flame-like flash appear from left to right as the death occurs from the point of view of the victim. It is also way the enemies targeted by it receives a lethal amount of damage as it only takes one attack from the Impostor to kill a crewmate.
