King Bible is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the starting weapon of Dommario. It is unlocked by default.
It can be evolved into Unholy Vespers with Spellbinder.
Effects[]
King Bible spawn a ring of bibles around the player that occasionally has pages fall out of it. The bible spins clockwise around the player and deals damage to any enemy it touches.
Additional bibles from Amount are added to the circle and spaced evenly. Speed affects how fast the books rotate, Duration affects how long they rotate before cooling down, and Area affects how far away from the player they spin which has a cap in size and increases the size of the bibles.
The Cooldown of King Bible depends on the weapon's Duration, meaning that its Cooldown is extended by its Duration of 3 seconds to 6 seconds total. The extension will increase with level ups as they change the base weapon's stats, but it is not affected by other Duration bonuses.
King Bible has a 1.7 seconds Hitbox Delay, meaning that the same enemy cannot be hit more often than every 1.7 seconds by the same bible. However, because all active delays are reset simultaneously as soon as any one elapses, some enemies may get hit more often.
Arcanas[]
- Twilight Requiem (II) - Allows the King Bible's projectiles to explode when they expire. Damage is based on Curse.
- Divine Bloodline (IX) - Allows the King Bible to deal extra flat damage based on Armor.

Tips[]
- King Bible works with every passive item that can affect weapon stats. The Collection Tab description says that it works best with Speed, Duration, and Area.
- Bigger Area for the King Bible may be detrimental because they are further apart. If the enemies pushed through the "barrier" will probably not leave it again, especially when there is a swamp of enemies constantly pushing more in.
- Normally there cannot be multiple layers of bibles active at once as its full Cooldown is based on the weapon's Duration added to its Cooldown. However, with the character's Duration bonuses from Spellbinder or Duration PowerUp, it is possible to achieve this as the increase to Cooldown depends only on the weapon's Duration.
- Combined with the knockback resistance reduction of Garlic / Soul Eater, King Bible can completely prevent enemies from reaching the player, all the way until the end of the game, if paired with other similar large scale area denial weapons.
- Since King Bible rotates clockwise, damaging enemies by moving in counterclockwise circles will hit them more often.
- Speed allows King Bible to hit more consistently and is very beneficial early on, but due to the weapon's high Hitbox Delay it starts to have less benefit after its bibles can complete a full revolution before it refreshes.
Trivia[]
- This weapon is inspired by the bible sub-weapon from the Castlevania series. Both cycle the player and pages of the bible fall out of it.
- King Bible in Italian is translated to "Re Bibbia", which literally translate to "King Bible".
- In a Interview Luca revealed that the name was a pun on the Rebibbia Underground station in Rome. [1]
