Malphas is one of the secret playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. He starts with 
Thousand Edge (which also has a unique appearance like black feathers) and 
Tenebris Tonitrus as hidden weapons.
Unlocking[]
"Destroy his black wings with the Morris who's tale is yet untold."
Malphas will appear as a boss enemy in the Ode to Castlevania stage at the 25:00 minute mark, and then defeat him while playing as Quincy Morris.
Once unlocked, Malphas can be purchased for 
16,650, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Malphas can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "karasuman".
Passive bonuses[]
Malphas starts with +1 Armor, +80% Move Speed, and +20% Might. He can also fly over terrain, preventing him from being obstructed by stage obstacles.
He starts with a hidden and weakened version of Thousand Edge (reskinned as black feathers) and Tenebris Tonitrus. Hidden weapons get stronger with each level.
He can find special Castlevania pickups, like Wall Chicken.
Trivia[]
- The Spell that unlocks Malphas is a reference to his name in the American version of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night.
- The hidden weapons Malphas starts with are references to some of his attacks from his home series.
