The Master Librarian is one of the secret playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. His starting weapon is Rapidus Fio.
Unlocking[]
"Pay a coin for every book he keeps."
Buy everything from the Master Librarian's shop at least once. In order to unlock and access his shop, the Wood Carving Score must be collected by defeating the Treant at the bottom left of the Ode to Castlevania stage next to the entrance to the castle's bottom path, all of which is accessible only after unlocking Vlad Tepes Dracula and getting the Pile of Secrets. Obtaining the Wood Carving Score then allows him to appear on any stage permanently. The items you must purchase must be all done on the main character (If you're playing co-op) and are the following; Valmanway, Icebrand, Arrow of Goth, Summon Spirit Tornado, Aura Blast, Svarog Statue, Troll Bomb, Hydro Storm, Grand Cross, Summon Spirit, Dark Rift, Soul Steal, and Sword Brothers.
Once unlocked, the Master Librarian can be purchased for 
65,536, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, the Master Librarian can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "rockingchair".
Passive bonuses[]
The Master Librarian starts with the following bonuses:
He gains +80% MoveSpeed permanently from Rapidus Fio once it triggers for the first time and also gains +2% Move Speed per level.
He starts with an extra Mad Groove (VIII) Arcana.
The Master Librarian starts with a hidden Power of Lire. The Power of Lire will periodically trigger starting a Gold Fever and pulsing a number of times based on Amount, and with each pulse, enemies, Treasure Chests, and pickups on the screen will instantly be deleted and turned into bags of money of different colors, which are then magnetized toward him afterwards. The bags of money are a different sprite from the Coin Bag or the Rich Coin Bag, yet they do not seem to appear in the Collection. Then, the Gold Fever continues as normal. This can kill even the Atlanteans guarding the stage items normally.
He can find special Castlevania pickups, like Wall Chicken.
The Master Librarian's Mad Groove (VIII) for the most part is glitched as it'll spawn all items in the upper left corner. A select few maps do work as intended though [Green Acres, and Bone Zone to name a few].
Trivia[]
- The coin bags spawned from Power of Lire are almost the same as the ones in Symphony of the Night.
- Also the face appearing when the power trigger is the one from Maria Montessori, specifically the portrait appearing in the 1000 Italian Lire bill.
- His unlock price, 65,536, is the maximum value of an unsigned 16-bit integer.
