Megalo Death is one of the secret playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. His starting weapon is Death Spiral, but he also has the option of starting with Ebony Diabologue provided it has been unlocked.
Unlocking[]
"Unleash maximised Death on the Castle while holding the soul-stealing stones."
After acquiring the Ebony and Crimson Stones, play as Death and kill a total of 100,000 enemies or more in a single run in the Ode to Castlevania map.
Once unlocked, Megalo Death can be purchased for 
16,650, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Megalo Death can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "embracethereaper".
Passive bonuses[]
Megalo Death starts with the following bonuses:
- +300 Max Health
- +2 Armor
- +50% Move Speed
- +250% Might
- -20% Cooldown
- +100% Greed
- +10 Rerolls
- +10 Skips
- +10 Banishes
Megalo Death is the permanent transformation Death receives upon reaching level 80. This transformation gives Death two giant skeletal hands that move in tandem with him and create large cracks in the ground that shake the screen and damage enemies.
Like the original Death, he cannot die but instead disappears at the time limit and ending the run automatically, similar to Megalo Menya Moonspell and Ghost Lino.
He can find special Castlevania pickups, like Wall Chicken.
