The Morning Star is a weapon from the Ode To Castlevania DLC for Vampire Survivors. It becomes available at the start of a stage when unlocked and equipped by an eligible character. It allows the player to select one of the Ode to Castlevania magic whips, which includes:
Alchemy Whip- Wind Whip
- Platinum Whip
- Dragon Water Whip
- Sonic Whip
- Jet Black Whip
- Vibhuti Whip
- Vanitas Whip
Unlocking[]
The Morning Star is unlocked by evolving all 8 magic whips. This does not have to be done in a single stage.

Trivia[]
- The name and the icon are a reference to The Morning Star, which is often portrayed as the most powerful form of the Vampire Killer whip, with the icon being the whip powerup item in Classicvania games.
Tips[]
- When selected by an eligible character, the player will encounter a modal upon starting the stage. The modal displays all the player's unlocked magic whips. Upon selecting a whip, the modal will close and the Morning Star is consumed, leaving the player with their selected whip.
- The Morning Star only requires that the player evolves each of the magic whips. It does not require the player to unlock the magic whips. Though the usefulness of evolving a magic whip and not unlocking it somewhat reduces the utility of the Morning Star.
