Overhealing is an event in in Vampire Survivors. It happens whenever a character gets healed over their MaxHealth. Certain effects will only trigger upon overhealing.

Overhealing will trigger the following effect (effectiveness depends on the amount of overhealing health):
- Miang Moonspell gains +0.2 Max Health each time she overheals.
Guardian's Targe
triggers extra projectiles.
Sacred Beasts Tower Shield
triggers extra projectiles and provides temporary invulnerable.- Sonia Belmont gains temporary Cooldown reduction.
- Grant Danasty triggers all knife weapons equipped when being overhealed by +8.
- Alucard triggers Summon Spirit when being overhealed by +8.
- Maria Renard gains +1% Might for each +1 overhealing. Overhealing by +32 temporary buffs all her Followers.
- Barlowe gains +1% Might and 1% Curse for each +1 overhealing.
- Wind triggers Aura Blast and a random equipped Coat of Arms weapon when being overhealed by +8.
- Walter Bernhard triggers a random equipped Ebony Diabologue weapon when being overhealed by +8.
- Keremet triggers Keremet Morbus when being overhealed by +8.
Note that you need to overheal +8 or more in a single healing to trigger an effect which triggers when being overhealed by +8.
Overhealing triggering is stackable. For example, overhealing by +20 can trigger an effect that needs +8 overhealing twice.
Arcanas[]
Sarabande of Healing (VI) increases overall healing effect, which includes overhealing.
Disco of Gold (XV) can trigger overhealing massively during Gold Fever.
