PowerUp-Reroll

Reroll can only be obtained as a PowerUp. It allows you to get a new set of level up options up to two times in a run.

PowerUps are purchasable improvements to stats. They can be bought with Gold Coins in the PowerUp Selection menu. PowerUps with a golden background do not have an associated passive item in the game.

Types

There are 19 different PowerUps in the game, affecting the various player stats.

Cost

The price of a PowerUp rank is calculated by this formula:

Where "InitialPrice" is the price of desired PowerUp when no PowerUp ranks were bought at all, "Bought" is the number of bought ranks for a desired powerup and "TotalBought" is the number of all bought PowerUp ranks combined.

Optimal order

As there are varying costs for each PowerUp, the order in which they are bought matters for total cost. Buying the PowerUps with the most expensive average cost (i.e. total cost divided by number of upgrades) first reduces the amount of extra coins you have to pay in total. This way, as of game version 0.3.1h, a total of 203,150 coins are required to buy all PowerUps or 186,500 if you skip Greed (getting more coins is worthless if you can buy all other PowerUp and already bought all characters).

The optimal order to buy all ranks for each PowerUp is as follows:

  1. Revival
  2. Reroll
  3. Amount
  4. Curse
  5. Growth
  6. Cooldown
  7. Armor / Luck
  8. Area / Speed / Duration / MoveSpeed / Magnet
  9. Might / Recovery / Greed
  10. Max Health
  11. Skip
  12. Banish

To figure out the best order for a subset of PowerUps, you can calculate the average cost of each PowerUp using this formula:

Where "Amount" is the number of ranks you want to put into the corresponding PowerUp. Then buy the PowerUp with the most expensive average cost first. You can also leave out the division by 2 since it won't change which one is more expensive.
