Rapid Fire is one of the pickups that has a chance to drop from light sources. Its drop rate is affected by Luck.

Rapid Fire can only appear when playing on Neo Galuga and Hectic Highway or as a character from the Operation Guns DLC. Simondo Belmont is also able to spawn this pickup without the need for light sources.

Effects

Rapid Fire gives +30% Projectile Speed and -30% Cooldown for 10 real time seconds (not in-game time). The Projectile Speed has no upper limit. The Cooldown is limited to -90%.

Tips

• The Cooldown reduction is an incredibly powerful effect. Due to Rapid Fire lasting 10 seconds it is important to not immediately pick up Rapid Fire if you are able to save it to maximize the uptime on the stat benefits.
