Recovery is one of the stats in Vampire Survivors. It determines the amount of health that is regenerated per second.
The base value of Recovery is 0, which means that health does not regenerate without any Recovery bonuses. Recovery also boost healing from pickups, each 0.1 translates to an additive 10% boost. It does not increase healing from weapons. Bonuses to Recovery are flat bonuses and thus stack additively.
There is no upper limit to how much Recovery the player can have.
PowerUp[]
Recovery PowerUp increases Recovery by 0.1 per rank, with a maximum rank of 5. At rank 5, it provides +0.5 Recovery. It initially costs 200.

Recovery's associated passive item is Pummarola, which provides +0.2 Recovery per level, up to a maximum of +1 Recovery at level 5.
Metaglio Left also provides +0.1 Recovery per level, up to a maximum of +0.8 Recovery at level 9.
Golden Egg permanently increases Recovery by 0.1 for the character that collected it.

- Clerici, Minnah, and Robbert start with +0.5 Recovery.
- Divano starts with +1 Recovery.
- Smith gains +0.01 Recovery every level, with no cap.
- Cosmo starts with +1 Recovery and gains +1 Recovery every level, with no cap.

- Crewmate has a chance to gain a random amount of Recovery every time a weapon or passive item is upgraded to its maximum level, with no cap.
- Shapeshifter starts with +1 Recovery.
- Guardian starts with +0.1 Recovery and provides +0.1 Recovery to nearby characters.
- Scientist can select to gain +0.01 Recovery per level every 10 levels until level 50, for a maximum of up to +0.05 Recovery per level.
Operation Guns[]
- Lucia starts with +1 Recovery and gains +0.1 Recovery after reviving, with no cap.
- Sheena starts with +1 Recovery.
From Arcana[]
Sarabande of Healing (VI) Arcana multiplies Recovery by 2.
Tips[]
- Recovery is additive and not multiplicative. The highest possible Recovery is attainable by playing as Cosmo, with rank 5 Recovery PowerUp (+0.5), level 5 Pummarola (+1), and level 9 Metaglio Left (+0.8), combining to give the character (player level+3.3) health regenerated every second. It can be doubled with Sarabande of Healing (VI) to (2 x player level + 6.6) every second.
- The small amount of Recovery may look weak, but it can be very useful for healing off small bits of damage. Anything that makes the player take less damage will thus make the Recovery more effective, such as bonuses to Armor.
