Richter Belmont is one of the playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. His starting weapon is the Platinum Whip, but he also has the option of starting with the Morning Star provided it has been unlocked.
Unlocking[]
Richter Belmont can be unlocked by evolving the Guardian's Targe.
Once unlocked, Richter Belmont can be purchased for 500, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Richter Belmont can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "doesnthaveuno".
Passive bonuses[]
Richter starts with +20% MoveSpeed, -10% Cooldown, and starts with an extra Divine Bloodline (IX) Arcana.
He can find special Ode to Castlevania pickups like Wall Chicken.
While playing as him in the Ode to Castlevania stage, a unique chamber connected by a staircase appears outside the very top of the Clock Tower. Entering this chamber despawns all enemies on the screen and begins a special cutscene with Vlad Tepes Dracula which serves as the prelude to the final boss battle of the Ode to Castlevania DLC.

Trivia[]
- Richter Belmont's unlock spell, "doesnthaveuno", is a reference to a YouTube video called "Castlevania: Rondo of Cards" by Genowhirl70, which in itself is a parody of the "You Have UNO" meme and the famous dialogue exchange between Dracula and Richter before their battle in the intro of Symphony of the Night.
- Richter Belmont is one of the very few characters in Vampire Survivors who has voice acting, alongside Vlad Tepes Dracula and Death. He is voiced by SungWon Cho, who is also the voice for Death.
