Healing is doubled. Recovering HP damages nearby enemies for the same amount.

Sarabande of Healing (VI) is one of the Arcanas in Vampire Survivors. It is unlocked alongside obtaining the Randomazzo, being the first Arcana to be unlocked.

While this Arcana is active, all healing is doubled. Additionally, all healing triggers an Area-of-Effect damage pulse within a fixed range, dealing damage equal to the amount healed. The damage from the healing pulse does not benefit from Might, and can only deal exactly the amount healed. It does not require missing health to deal damage either.

Julia LaforezeOde to Castlevania DLC starts with this arcana, as well as an unique visual effect.

Tips[]

  • The healing pulse is affected by Area. Since all the weapons also benefit from Area, they synergize well with this Arcana.
  • Revival counts as healing to half health, and is doubled to become a full heal. If a character has high Max Health (e.g. Red Death, level 100+ Toastie), using a Revival deals Max Health worth of damage to all surrounding enemies.
    • Healing to full also restore the HP-Critical skills of some character like She-Moon Eeta and Bat Robbert, making them easier to trigger again after a death.
  • Pairs well with Disco of Gold (XV), as the collected coins heal for the same amount, doubled with this Arcana. Sends damaging pulses when coins are collected and applies during Gold Fever.
  • This Arcana synergizes well with Revival, Armor, and Max Health.
  • This Arcana doesn't actually affect Recovery stat.

Trivia[]

  • The name of this Arcana is a reference to the song "Sarabande of Healing", which is Julia's shop music in Curse of Darkness.
  • The pulse as a standalone weapon pulses periodically. It can be affected by Amount and Cooldown, which is not the case when it is an Arcana effect as it always pulses only once when healed. It can also be affected by Might as long as it has been modified to have some Base Damage.
