- This article is about the character. For the enemy, see Simondo Belmont (enemy).
Simondo Belmont is one of the playable characters from the Operation Guns DLC of Vampire Survivors. He does not have a starting weapon.
Unlocking[]
Simondo Belmont can be unlocked for purchase by evolving the Diver Mines. He needs to be purchased for 10,000, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Simondo can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "honouringmasato".
Passive Bonuses[]
Simondo gains +1 Amount every 20 levels until level 80. The maximum Amount gained this way is +4.
The following table shows how much Amount he gain by level:
Levels | Amount |
---|---|
1-19 | 0 |
20-39 | +1 |
40-59 | +2 |
60-79 | +3 |
80+ | +4 |
Simondo has an ability that spawns Rapid Fire, Barrier, and Grenade pickups with base Cooldown of 30 seconds, visually exploding them on the field. The rate of spawning the pickups is determined by affected by the Cooldown stat. The amount of pickups it spawns is determined by Amount, up to a maximum of 12 spawns at a time. The ability starts at 0 amount, which still spawn one pickup normally but requires +2 Amount from the player to start increasing the amount spawned. This ability also benefits from Beginning (X) which provides +3 Amount per spawn.
Simondo has a "HP-Critical" skill that activates as soon as his HP drops below 20% of his Max Health, which triggers the ability immediately with 12 more item spawning. The skill may only be activated again after recovering all HP. Receiving fatal damage resulting in a game-over will not trigger the skill.
Simondo can find Rapid Fire, Barrier, and Grenade pickups from light sources.
Tips[]
- Due to the increase spawns of Grenades, it is possible to beat levels without using any weapons as Simondo. Although, he would still perform much better using weapons.
- Without any weapons, Simondo gets another -8% Cooldown from Silent Old Sanctuary (XX), however he gains more benefits from Beginning (X) as a starting Arcana.
- Maximizing Cooldown will allow you to fully benefit from his bonuses.
