The Blinder is an enemy that appears in Abyss Foscari and Carlo Cart.

Blinder's health is based on the player's level, and it is immune to knockback, freeze, and debuffs.

Instances[]

Map event[]

Blinder appears in a map event that spawns a single black reaper that follows the player for 1 or 2 minutes, occasionally speeding up or slowing down.

In Abyss Foscari, Blinder has a low chance to spawn at the very start of the round and a slightly higher chance to spawn at the 8 minute mark, and almost guaranteed to spawn at the 12 minute mark.

Other[]

In Carlo Cart, it is summoned by the Timed Enemy Spawn map event.

Behavior[]

Upon spawning, The Blinder will follow the player around but will not actively make contact. Occasionally, it will speed up or slow down, appearing to chase the player, dealing massive damage upon contact. It will continue this behavior until it is defeated or its set duration has elapsed. This behavior is identical to that of The Stalker.

It can be defeated with Pentagram, Gorgeous Moon, Infinite Corridor, Crimson Shroud, Victory Sword, Luminaire Tides Of The Foscari DLC, Rosary, or Grenade Operation Guns DLC.

Defeating it with the aforementioned weapons and items will make it drop a Treasure Chest:

Patrols[]

The weaker variant of Blinder spawns when you are close to any stage items, with less health, damage, and MoveSpeed. As opposed to general behaviour, it cannot drop a Treasure Chest.

Carlo Cart[]

The Blinder operates under its usual behavior in this stage, although with a significantly higher health-scaling than its other counterparts, making the only realistic way of defeating it is with insta-kill effects.
