The Thousand Edge is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the Evolution of the Knife, requiring Bracer. It is the starting weapon of Boon Marrabbio.
Effects[]
Thousand Edge shoots a never-ending stream of knife projectiles that is fired in the direction the player is moving or last moved.
Thousand Edge shoots three times faster with a sizable increase to Speed, with a small increase to Interval. The projectiles cannot pass through walls.
While playing with a keyboard, the knives are only able to be shot out in eight directions: the cardinal and ordinal directions. When playing with a mouse or gamepad, the knives are able to be fired in any direction.
Arcanas[]
- Iron Blue Will (VII) - Allows the Thousand Edge's projectiles to bounce off enemies up to three times, occassionally have infinite pierce, and pass through walls.
- Slash (XVI) - Allows the Thousand Edge to critical hit. Its critical hits deal 6x damage and have 30% chance to occur. This chance is affected by Luck.
Levels[]
With Limit Break, Thousand Edge can be further leveled up.

Tips[]
- Even if each volley of knives last longer than the Cooldown, it does not prevent another volley to start shooting. Pool Limit is the only reason there is not more projectiles on screen. Projectile Speed increase can make less projectiles stay on screen.
- Thousand Edge can deal critical damage after Slash (XVI) is picked. The more Luck you have, the more likely you are to deal critical hits. Luck can be increased with Clover, Little Clovers, or the Luck PowerUp.
- No matter how you control, Thousand Edge is one of the best options for single target damage and keeping enemies at bay in the whole game because of its ability to direct the knives, its unlimited range, and its high Amount and low Cooldown. Additionally, the knives are fired so fast that almost every enemy in the game can be held completely at bay by knockback.
- When playing Boon Marrabbio, it is possible to obtain Knife in addition to Thousand Edge. However, it cannot be evolved into Thousand Edge.
Trivia[]
- This weapon is inspired by the Item Crash of the dagger sub-weapon from the Castlevania series. It is usually throwing a large number of daggers continuously just like the weapon.
