Trident is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the starting weapon of Isaac. It is unlocked by inflicting a total of 40,000 damage with it.

It can be evolved into Gungnir-Souris Spear with Max level Duplicator. Evolving the Trident unlocks Saint Germain as playable character.

As a magical weapon, Trident can be obtained by Sprite-Spectral Sword Spectral Sword.

Effects[]

The Trident is a melee-type weapon that sends out a trident to damage enemies. It fires in a V-shaped pattern 3 times, in the direction that the character is facing. The Trident fires only to the left or the right of the character. It never fires up, down, or diagonally. This makes it challenging to play with in maps that require a lot of movement up and down. It's evolution, Gungnir-Souris, suffers from the same problem.

Tips[]

The spinning technique can actually be done an infinite amount of times, with no limit if you're very skilled.

Trivia[]

  • The way this weapon attacks, and how it functions, are exactly the same as what Eric is able to do if you attack in Castlevania: Bloodlines and press the opposite direction. Unlike here, in Bloodlines you are able to start it from a vertical strike, not just horizontal.
  • The weapon's icon is similar to the one from Dawn of Sorrow.
