The Vandalier is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the Union of Peachone and Ebony Wings. It is the starting weapon of Smith IV. To unlock it, both Peachone and Ebony Wings must be level 8.
Effects[]
Vandalier is a vibrant, multicolored bird that flies around the player and bombards two circling zones with projectiles. Two zones revolve around the player, one moves clockwise, and the other counterclockwise. The bird moves behind the player at a slower speed, but the bombarding circle will always stay in a position relative to the player. Its Base Damage and combined Amount of projectiles is slightly less, and it reverts the Cooldown bonus that Peachone and Ebony Wings got, but it increases Projectile Speed and Pool Limit.
By default, Vandalier fires 4 sets of 20 projectiles. Each set fires all of its projectiles at about the same spot, set by the position of the visible zone at the instant that set starts, alternating between each zone. A set firing is on a different timer to the zone being active, so the first set can start firing up to a second after the zone lights up. This means that the number of sets per activation can vary by 1.
Duration increases the time bombards are active, with 1 second roughly equal to 1 set by default. Area increases the Area-of-Effect of the projectiles, but not the size of the bombarding circle itself. Speed increases how fast the circle moves. Amount increases how many projectiles are fired per set. Cooldown bonuses reduce the time between each activation, the time between each set of projectiles, and the time between each projectile within a set. Move Speed improves Vandalier's movement but has virtually no effect to its capability.

- Gemini (I) - creates counterparts Cygnus and Zhar Ptytsia. They level up as their base counterparts do and benefit from Limit Breaking. Their bombardment area is slightly further than their counterparts.

Tips[]
- Vandalier benefits the most from Cooldown and Duration bonuses increasing the active duration and attack more often when so.
- The projectiles originate from the bird itself. The bird will move behind the player, but will be slower than the player. While the bombarding circle will always stay in a position relative to the player, the bird can be left all the way off screen if you keep moving.
- Once it reaches level 5, Vandalier's Cooldown will be lower than maxed Peachone or Ebony Wings, making it virtually have no downsides compare to its two base weapons combined.
- Once Vandalier is acquired, the character opens up an additional "base weapon" slot in their inventory (as Ebony Wings and Peachone are combined into one item), allowing more room in the build in the late game.
- Vandalier has an interesting interaction with the Chaos in the Dark Night Arcana, where every 10 seconds the circular zone slows down, stops, changes direction, then accelerates rapidly, and every 10 seconds starting :05 its speed doubles and halves alternately, in total causing its speed to increase every 20 seconds.
Trivia[]
- Move Speed used to increase the bombarding circles' speed, like Speed. However, this was not intended and was fixed eventually.
- This weapon is inspired by the hidden Vandalier class of the PSX-era Konami TRPG Vandal Hearts, and the sub-weapon version of Suzaku from the Castlevania series. The bird's color is similar to the class' color palette, while the attack pattern is similar to the Vandalier class' strongest attack, Plasma Wave.
