Vento Sacro is a weapon in Vampire Survivors. It is the starting weapon of Zi'Assunta Belpaese. It is unlocked by surviving 15 minutes with Zi'Assunta.

Vento Sacro and Bloody Tear can be united into Fuwalafuwaloo.

Effects[]

Vento Sacro creates multiple slashes horizontally in front of the character, damaging all enemies in the area.

Movement Speed increases its overall fire rate when moving, when the character stops, it initiates the default Cooldown. Projectile Speed makes the slashes go further out horizontally. Duration increases how long the hitbox lingers.

By default, it is capable of dealing critical hits, which deal 2x damage and have a 5% chance to occur. This chance is affected by Luck.

Vento Sacro gains bonus damage from walking nonstop. It caps at 5 flat damage multiplied by level, up to 40 flat damage at Level 8. The actual bonus comes from distance walked divided by 200,000 up to the cap. This bonus will reset once the character stops moving. The unit for distance walked is slightly arbitrary and is not as big as it seems in the game. Limit Break levels do not further increase the cap. The weapon also creates a trail of light blue particle effects that arcs upward. The longer they last indicates the bonus being higher.

Arcanas[]

Selecting Slash (XVI) Arcana doubles the damage of Vento Sacro's critical hits, causing them to deal 4x damage.

Divine Bloodline (IX) allows the slashes to deal extra flat damage based on Armor.

Vento Sacro has 8 levels. At max level, Vento Sacro has +4 Base Damage, +60% Area, and +3 Amount.

Tips[]

  • With enough Amount, Cooldown and Movement Speed, Vento Sacro can be a very deadly weapon to where you are facing horizontally.
  • Vento Sacro can deal critical damage by default. The more Luck you have, the more likely you are to deal critical hits. Luck can be increased with Clover, Little Clovers, or the Luck PowerUp.
  • Vento Sacro has a normal amount of knockback but it has an Area-of-Effect that can be controlled unlike most weapons, so it can be useful when trying to escape enemies closing in on you.
  • Moving vertically while facing only one direction with a wall behind you can be very effective.
  • Because of the continuous uninterrupted movement needed to effectively using this weapon and its evolution, it has negative synergy with Shadow Pinion and Valkyrie Turner, which require stopping to be more effective.

Trivia[]

  • This is the only weapon that requires an evolved weapon to be evolved.
  • The bonuses for continuously walking gives up to 10 Amount to the weapon is changed in patch 0.8.0. In total the player has to walked 1,000,000 units, divided by the base Amount of the weapon which is increased when leveling up. It takes 250,000, 200,000, 166,667, and 142,858 units walked at Level 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, and 7-8 respectively.
  • This weapon is inspired by the Crissaegrim/Valmanway weapon from the Castlevania series; ironically, it is an evolution of the sword instead of a whip. The icon is similar to whip from Portrait of Ruin.
