Walter Bernhard is one of the secret playable characters in the Ode to Castlevania DLC in Vampire Survivors. His starting weapon is Nitesco.
Unlocking[]
"Let the alchemist personally avenge his family."
After unlocking Vlad Tepes Dracula, Walter Bernhard will appear in the Ode to Castlevania stage as a boss enemy, where his summoning circle is located on the bridge between the front building and the middle building. Then defeat him as Rinaldo Gandolfi.
Once unlocked, Walter Bernhard can be purchased for 
16,650, which scales with other characters purchased.
Alternatively, Walter Bernhard can be unlocked in the Forbidden Scrolls of Morbane by casting the Spell "itsallhisfault".
Passive Bonuses[]
Walter Bernhard starts with +50 Max Health, +2 Armor, +20% Move Speed, and +100% Greed. He is immune to health drain, and when overhealing by +8 health or more, he triggers any equipped weapons from the Ebony Diabologue.
He can find special Castlevania pickups, like Wall Chicken.
